Privacy Policy
The short version: no cookies, no personal-data tracking, no newsletter, no email harvesting. We run a single privacy-friendly visit counter (Plausible Analytics) that aggregates anonymous page views without storing any personal data. This page exists because the GDPR requires it. The long version below is honest and short on purpose.
What this website does not collect
- No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag
- No cookies (no banner, because there's nothing to consent to)
- No newsletter signup, no email capture
- No contact form, no booking form
- No user account, no login
- No fingerprinting, no session replay, no heatmap, no behavior recording
- No retargeting, no advertising network
You can browse the entire site without leaving any personal data on our side. The only thing we know is the aggregate count of page views, as explained below.
Privacy-friendly analytics: Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics to count how many people visit which page. Plausible was built specifically as an ethical alternative to Google Analytics:
- No cookies at all (so no cookie banner needed)
- No personal data collected (no IP storage, no user ID, no fingerprint)
- No cross-site tracking, no profile building, no data shared with third parties
- GDPR, CCPA and PECR compliant by design (Plausible is based in the EU, hosted in Germany)
- Data we see: aggregate page-view counts, country (from IP, not stored), browser type, referring site. Nothing tied to an individual.

Data you actively send us
The only way to contact us is via WhatsApp. When you message us at +33 6 67 55 21 87, you choose to share:
- Your name as it appears on your WhatsApp profile
- Your phone number
- The content of your messages and any details you provide (dates, group size, pickup location, flight number)
This data sits inside the WhatsApp application on our phone, encrypted end-to-end by WhatsApp. We use it strictly to reply to you, to coordinate the boat operator and ground transport, and to handle billing if your booking goes through. We do not export, sell, share, rent or transfer this data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Data retention
WhatsApp conversations are retained on our device for as long as needed to manage the booking and for any post-trip follow-up. If you ask us to delete your conversation history, we delete it within 30 days.
Third parties
Four third-party services are involved in serving this website to you. They each have their own privacy policies:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), for messaging. See the WhatsApp privacy policy.
- Netlify, Inc., for hosting. Netlify keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL) for 30 days, used for security and performance only. See the Netlify privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ), for aggregate, cookieless page-view counting. See the Plausible privacy policy.
- Google Fonts, for loading the typefaces (Playfair Display, DM Sans). Google may log your IP when serving fonts. See the Google privacy policy.
That's the entire list. There are no other third-party services involved in your visit.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction with equivalent data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold on you
- Correct any inaccuracies
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict the processing of your data
- Object to processing for marketing purposes (irrelevant here, we don't do marketing automation)
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: CNIL)
To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp at +33 6 67 55 21 87 with a clear request. We respond within 30 days, as required by the GDPR.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
